ADIL has expanded its projects and developments offering to the global oil and gas industry with the addition of two experienced senior leaders to the team.
Peter Brawley brings 35 years of international experience to the company as he joins as Head of Field Developments. Having worked on a wide range of major projects in the UK, Australia and the Middle East, he has spent the past six years working on BP’s $5 billion Clair Ridge project in the North Sea, taking the project from concept selection through to construction.
Based in Aberdeen, he will be responsible for overall delivery of all field development projects and the front end group.
Brawley is joined by new head of projects and package management Paul Williams. In a career spanning two decades he has senior subsea project and engineering management experience with operators and contractors having worked on a wide range of shallow and deepwater developments both in the North Sea and in other offshore sectors around the world.
Most recently Williams was Apache North Sea’s subsea projects and operations manager responsible for the successful delivery of all subsea projects and operations on Apache’s North Sea assets.
Williams, who has led a number of projects from early engineering to delivery, including the installation of the $160 million Bacchus development for Apache North Sea, will be based in the Aberdeen office.
Managing director James Paton said: “Projects and developments is an area for significant potential growth within our business as we see an increasing number of industry operators looking to draw on the solid core of expertise we have in this arena”.
“Attracting people of Paul and Peter’s calibre to our organisation sends a very strong message about what we are doing in the marketplace, the interesting and dynamic projects we are involved with and the opportunity to help shape some of the biggest developments happening in the industry today.”
The company, which recently announced the appointment of Lo van Wachem as general manager of projects and developments to position itself for future growth, is looking to build on ADIL’s track record in technical and commercial innovative development solutions to help create value for customers in a collaborative manner.
“Most of our people have a proven track record with between 20 and 30 years’ operator and international experience in the oil and gas industry,” added Paton. “We have invested significantly in recent months in strengthening our senior management team as part of our ambitious global growth plans as we look to build on our success to date.”
